3x12-Hour Shifts No On-Call Requirement Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a Float Pool assignment in a high-volume Level I Trauma hospital in Atlanta, GA. This role primarily supports Emergency Department boarder patients, including Med/Surg, Step-Down, and ICU-level patients awaiting inpatient placement. Candidates may also be required to float to acute care units based on hospital needs. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience within large Level I Trauma facilities and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environments. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department and boarded patients Monitor and manage patients with varying acuity levels including: Medical/Surgical Step-Down ICU-level patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring Respond quickly to clinical changes and emergency situations Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as ordered Collaborate with physicians, emergency teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff Maintain accurate charting and documentation within EMR systems Ensure compliance with hospital safety, infection prevention, and emergency care protocols Float to acute care units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience in a similar-sized Level I Trauma facility required BLS Certification required ACLS Certification required TNCC Certification required Strong experience managing high-acuity and critically ill patients required Ability to work effectively in very busy emergency care environments For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
