In this vital role, you will serve as a compassionate advocate for our clients as they navigate the aging process and healthcare system. Our goal is to give families peace of mind by knowing that a dedicated RN advocate is always in their loved one's corner. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your clinical knowledge and passion for patient-centered care to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives.
What You'll Do:
Provide personalized assistance for our clients to look out for your their best interest. Give professional guidance while navigating the fragmented healthcare system. Routine Check-Ins Medical Appointment Accompaniment Help coordinate in-home care giving and provide ongoing monitoring Offer guidance and crisis intervention when healthcare challenges arise Assessments & Screenings Treatment Plan Monitoring Help simplify complex medical decisions so clients and families feel supported and informed What We're Looking for:
Required Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina Previous clinical experience in nursing (geriatric, home health, or hospital setting preferred) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within the Lowcountry area (this can be discussed further to narrow down the geographic area) Excellent communication, listening, and advocacy skills Professional, compassionate, and calm under pressure Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and fiduciary responsibility Preferred (but not required): Experience working with dementia patients Background in senior advocacy Passion for empowering older adults and reducing healthcare stress for families
