Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Infusion Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Summary As an LPN or RN, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring safety in various healthcare settings. Reporting to the medical doctor, you will utilize your core skills in IV insertion, and patient assessment to monitor and manage patient conditions effectively. Your critical care experience and proficiency with EHR systems will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care. M/W/F Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, medications, and fluids with precision, adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques Conduct comprehensive patient assessments prior to infusion procedures, including vital signs and medical history review Monitor patients during and after infusion treatments, promptly managing any adverse reactions or complications Educate patients and their families on infusion procedures, medication effects, and post-treatment care instructions Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, and other nursing staff to coordinate patient care plans Ensure compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and NCQA standards Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with current certification Proven experience in infusion therapy, including IV insertion and catheter care Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to infusion treatments Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and patient records management Critical care experience preferred, including ICU or emergency room background; familiarity with aseptic technique essential Additional skills in areas such as oncology infusions, chemotherapy administration, or specialty therapies like botulinum toxin treatment are a plus Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication abilities Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as hospital medicine or outpatient clinics Join us to deliver exceptional infusion care that improves patient outcomes!
