Overview Sign-on Bonus available Piedmont Henry Emergency Department 75000-90000 visits per year Licensed for 59 beds 3/4:1 Patient to RN Ratio Level III trauma center Triage and Assessment of patient complaint Medical screening exam by a qualified medical provider and treatment plan based on assessment Appropriate Drug Therapy Management of critically ill patients Patient discharge education Fully Accredited Stroke Center Recently added 18 bed Cardiac Observation Unit that works closely with ED Multidisciplinary team in the ED includes:
ED MD, ED APP, ED
RN, C-RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, ED Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience and Patient Access. Responsibilities The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED. Qualifications Education Graduate from a nursing program Required Bachelor's Degree of Nursing Preferred Work Experience 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects Required Licenses and Certifications RN

  • Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required BCLS
  • Basic Life Support Required ACLS Required PALS
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required CEN
