Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher guidance Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in the classroom Implement and monitor behavior support plans following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide mobility assistance, supervision, and personal care as required Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

Active Georgia RN license Minimum age of 18 years Compliance with TB testing and district health regulations Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary Current background clearances or readiness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

Background in school nursing, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings Experience supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges Certification or familiarity with CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Preventive Management Techniques), or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is advantageous Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaborative work ethic
