Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Experience the dynamic environment of critical care nursing by stepping into a rewarding RN-ICU role. Within this specialized setting, your expertise will make a difference for patients requiring intensive observation and intervention. This contract opportunity will allow you to showcase your clinical skills, collaborate closely with a diverse healthcare team, and provide exceptional patient-focused care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in an ICU or critical care setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing clinical situations Proficiency with electronic medical records and critical care monitoring equipment
Schedule:
Flexible contract shifts based on facility needs
Core Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret vital signs, respond to emergent situations with confidence and skill Administer medications, implement physician orders, and provide evidence-based nursing care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Deliver thorough patient and family education regarding condition, procedures, and next steps Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times Why consider this opportunity?
