  • Part-time, Travel nursing, Contract Job Summary Georgia Essential Private Care is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients (birth through age 21) in the comfort of their homes.
Our patients are medically fragile children and adolescents who may be wheelchair-bound and/or dependent on tracheostomy, ventilator support, G-tubes, and other life-sustaining medical equipment. This role offers the opportunity to make a life-changing difference by providing personalized, high-quality care that promotes safety, stability, and improved quality of life. As a Pediatric Home Care LPN or RN, you will work independently in the home while supported by a 24/7 clinical team. You will implement physician-ordered plans of care, provide complex skilled nursing services, and partner closely with families to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Implement and follow physician-prescribed plans of care Provide one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile pediatric patients Administer medications, and treatments as ordered Provide skilled care including (as applicable): Tracheostomy care Ventilator management G-tube/NG tube feedings Suctioning and airway management Oxygen therapy Seizure monitoring Wound care Catheter care Assessment & Monitoring Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments Monitor respiratory status, neurological status, and overall condition Identify and report changes in patient status promptly Respond appropriately to emergencies within scope of practice Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation Ensure compliance with Medicaid and state regulations Participate in care plan updates and coordination of care Family Education & Support Educate and train caregivers on safe equipment use and daily care routines Provide health teaching and reinforcement of care techniques Support families in promoting independence and quality of life Join us if you are a motivated, Pediatric-focused LPN or RN who is passionate about caring for children with complex medical needs, we encourage you to apply today!
