36 Hours Weekly (Hours Not Guaranteed) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced healthcare team in Hilo, Hawaii. This is an exciting travel nursing opportunity for professionals who thrive in a high-acuity environment and are passionate about providing exceptional emergency patient care. The Emergency Department features a 28-bed unit , including: 4 Trauma Bays 2 Behavioral Health Rooms 22 Cardiac Monitoring Rooms This department experiences a high patient volume, rapid turnover, and requires strong teamwork, critical thinking, and excellent clinical skills. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an emergency setting. Provide immediate treatment and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients. Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and nursing regulations. Deliver compassionate and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
