Outpatient Cardiology Clinic Position Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Monday•Thursday / 7:00am•5:30pm

Clinic:
We are a private practice office clinic in Honolulu providing specialized services in general cardiology and advanced heart failure. Our team includes two experienced cardiologists, a nurse practitioner, and clinical/administrative staff who work together to deliver high-quality patient care.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time registered nurse who is confident, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. While previous work experience in cardiology is preferred, we are willing to train an ideal candidate who is eager to learn and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibility:
Supervise treadmill stress tests by assessing patients, interpreting EKG changes, and identifying arrhythmias
Other Responsibilities:
Perform 12-lead EKGs and apply wearable cardiac monitors Use the Epic EMR system to review and prepare patient charts Greet and check-in patients for office visits Room patients, record vital signs, reconcile medication lists, and update medical history Schedule patient appointments Coordinate referrals to other providers and clinics Answer and triage patient phone calls Provide patient education and instruction Assist with medication refill requests Submit insurance prior authorization requests for diagnostic tests and medications
Preferred Qualifications:
BLS/ACLS
Certification EKG interpretation skills Excellent communication, multitasking, and typing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Epic EMR, and Akamai PM software
