Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
36 guaranteed hours per week, with the flexibility to pick up 42 or 48 hours if desired 16-week assignment ROTating shifts
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients within a busy medical-surgical unit Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments; must hold Chemotherapy Certification Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans Effectively use telehealth technologies as needed for patient care coordination Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, medications, and ongoing wellness
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent oncology nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting Chemotherapy Certification is required Telehealth capability and familiarity with related technology Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
