Job Description

Position Summary Maui Medical Group is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive urologic care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The APRN will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient clinical setting. Essential Functions
  • Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage urologic conditions within scope of practice
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care
  • Cover Urology patients that had procedures performed on Oahu
  • Perform office-based procedures consistent with training and competency
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and referring providers to coordinate care
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards Required Qualifications
  • Current APRN license in the State of Hawaii or eligibility for licensure
  • National board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
  • BLS certification
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on Urology outpatient care experience Supervision
  • Comfortable working remotely with Urology physician supervision or with in-office Urology physician Schedule
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays o 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours per week
