North Hawaii Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses across Hamakua, North Kohala, Waimea, and Waikoloa. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care Management:
Deliver direct, in-person nursing care including assessments and symptom management.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and care in line with organizational policies and procedures.
Admission Support:
Perform admissions as needed (dependent on caseload)
After-hours Coverage:
Provide occasional assistance with on-call coverage.
Position Requirements:
Current Hawaii RN license Preferred experience in hospice or home health Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork with the hospice interdisciplinary team Ability to provide patient education and counseling Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be able to travel to the areas we serve: Hamakua, North Kohala, Waimea, and Waikoloa How to
