Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Travel Waipahu, HI, offers an exciting opportunity for a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Oncology. Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week (accepting 42 or 48 hours if preferred) 16-week contract ROT shift pattern
What You'll Bring:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent MS Oncology nursing experience Current Chemo Certification Proficiency in Telemetry BLS and ACLS certifications, as required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients across all treatment phases Administer chemotherapy, monitor for adverse responses, and manage complex medication regimens Effectively monitor patients using telemetry equipment Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families regarding treatments, potential side effects, and ongoing care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with facility standards
