Job Description
Consistent weekday schedule Supportive and flexible team environment Feedback-rich culture where staff input is valued Great work-life balance Staff appreciation including potlucks and monthly catered lunches Annual raises Collaborative environment working directly with a spine surgeon and PA Assist spine surgeon and PA-C with patient care Support both clinic visits and operating room procedures Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education Coordinate patient care including: Prior authorizations Surgical scheduling Imaging coordination Referrals Serve as a key contact for patients throughout their surgical care experience Prior authorizations Surgical scheduling Imaging coordination Referrals Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN required) Active Iowa Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Operating room experience Clinic experience Spine or orthopedic specialty experience $4.00/hour surgical differential after training Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
