Full Job Description Pay Rate:
U p to $60/hr. combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change. Additional Bonuses, Group Health Insurance benefits available on day 1, 401k and more!
Dialysis RN Shifts:
12hr, 08:00-20:00
Job Summary:
The Dialysis RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment for renal failure. This role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, monitoring during dialysis, patient education, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and obtain medical history before dialysis treatment. Monitor and document patient vitals, dialysis access sites, and responses during treatment. Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments as prescribed by the physician. Administer medications and IV therapy as needed. Collaborate with nephrologists and other care team members to develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management, treatment plans, and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies. Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained. Comply with infection control, safety protocols, and other regulatory guidelines. Respond to emergency situations and follow code procedures when necessary.
Requirements:
RN license in state of assignment. Compact License AllowedMust have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility Minimum 2-year(s) exp. BLS and ACLS required. Experience in medical-surgical units preferred. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
Work Environment & Demands:
Will work every 3rd weekend Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down). Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
