Education/Certification Requirements:

Prefer graduate of accredited Surgical Technologists program (RN's and LPN's are able to function as a scrub nurse with the same orientation as a scrub tech) BLS Scrub tech certification BLS Scrub tech certification Experience Requirements (mandatory and preferred) : Ability to care for all patient populations One to two years recent experience in a surgical setting - scrub tech, RN, LPN Two years as CNA who exhibits excellent knowledge of sterile technique will be considered Technical/other training or better in Related Fields.
