Shift Differentials:
3pm-11pm is $5.00/hr and 11pm-7am is $7.50/hr
Weekend Differentials:
$7.50/hr for your every 3rd weekend rotation
Weekend Package Available:
5N Med/Surg, Days (7a-7p), for 72 hours. You will work 4 consecutive weekends in a row with every 5th weekend off. Weekend Differential is 50%. We have opportunities on either
Med/Surg Unit:
The 5 North department is a 23 bed Medical Floor that sees a variety of different patient populations. We see patients that just had cardiac caths, strokes, CHF, COVID, pneumonia and dialysis (CAPD is done on the floor) along with many other diagnoses. Every shift will be a learning experience with new patients. We are a fun team to work with. The 5th floor Medical/Surgical unit is a 20-bed unit. The 5 Med/Surg staff primarily cares for adult patients who are recovering from surgery, but may also care for those that are acutely ill with a wide variety of medial problems and diseases. The primary patient population on this unit is general surgery and total joint replacements (i.e. hip and knee). Responsibilities Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education. Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately. Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient's care. Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research.
