Shift:
Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Pay Rate:
$55.00/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week local contract assignment . This position offers a consistent 36-hour workweek on day shift and requires the flexibility to float between the West Burlington Campus and Fort Madison Campus as needed. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to behavioral health patients. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders. Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately. Collaborate with psychiatrists, providers, and interdisciplinary team members. Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of recent psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience. Current BLS certification. Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills. Ability and willingness to float between the West Burlington and Fort Madison campuses.
