Med Surg RN Shifts:

12hr, rotating days and nights, every third weekend. Holiday coverage based on rotation.

Job Summary:

RN will cover ED and med-surg dept.

Med-surg Peds, Med-Surg Ortho, Med-surg Mother/Baby, Med-surg Adult, Emergency Room Nurse, Critical Access Hospital RN Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor vital signs and patient status. Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, and pain management. Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.

Requirements:

RN license in state of assignment. Minimum 1-year(s) exp. BLS, NIHSS and ACLS required Experience in medical-surgical units preferred. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

Will work every 3rd weekend Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down). Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
