Job Description

Job Summary :
A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Infusion Department is responsible for providing high-quality infusion therapy to patients while coordinating the daily clinical workflow of an assigned infusion team. This role involves administering infusion treatments, monitoring patient responses, providing day-to-day clinical direction to assigned medical assistants, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The RN collaborates with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and maintain an efficient workflow in the infusion department. Duties and Responsibilities Administer infusion therapies safely and efficiently. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on infusion therapies and post-treatment care. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses. Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned medical assistants and delegate responsibilities consistent with competency and scope of practice. Coordinate daily patient flow and maintain an efficient infusion schedule. Maintain inventory of infusion-related supplies and medications. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinic policies, and infusion therapy standards. Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and professional development. Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, management, and other departments. Accurately document patient assessments, vital signs, weights, and treatments in accordance with clinic policy and regulatory requirements. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and appropriately delegate clinical tasks. Education and Experience Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Idaho. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Successful completion of the
NCLEX-RN. CRNI
certification preferred. Relevant infusion nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and computer use. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally. Ability to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive clinical tasks.

$40.00 - $48.00 per hour
