Job Description

An established regional emergency department in Northern Idaho is seeking an experienced Full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-acuity Emergency Medicine team in a modern, fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Highlights:
Practice in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 60,000 annual patient encounters Experience preferred in Emergency Medicine and/or Critical Care Ideal candidates have prior experience in busy, high-acuity EDs, including Level I or II Trauma Centers Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS 9-hour shifts, including 1 hour of dedicated time for care coordination and documentation Full-time schedule defined as 1,620 hours annually, with part-time options available Night shift differential available Collaborative environment with 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage Full specialty backup support across medical and surgical disciplines Advanced imaging capabilities located adjacent to the emergency department, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound
