Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and monitoring patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after cath lab procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor and document patient vitals and reactions to medications or interventions Implement strict infection control and patient safety protocols Educate patients and families on catheterization processes and after-care Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
