Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00

AM Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years. BSN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. 12 months gap required between for Staff at

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post cath recovery, and chest tube experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience with TR bands and Fem stops preferred.

The facility may make one-off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke's Health System.

Unit Details:

Uses Epic. Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post cath lab patients. RNs care for post cath lab patients but will not pull sheaths. No titratable drips on this floor; commonly sees set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone. No epi or nitro. Tele techs are on the floor until June, then will be centralized off site. RNs read and interpret telemetry and document every 6 hours. Uses SpaceLab monitors and is transitioning to Philips. RT manages CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements:

First to float. Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced. 7 days maximum time off 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years Driver's license required for submission
