Desired Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum one year of experience in an operating room setting Proficient in perioperative nursing practices, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation Effective communication, adaptability, and collaborative teamwork skills BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Prep, assess, and monitor patients undergoing surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to facilitate safe and efficient operations Implement evidence-based practices while maintaining strict compliance with infection control protocols Document patient information accurately and assist in post-operative recovery Respond quickly to emergent situations and provide patient advocacy throughout the surgical process
