Job Description

Seeking part time Oncology Infusion RN to join our growing outpatient infusion clinic located in Moscow, ID.
JOB SUMMARY
Must be able to safely administer simple to complex infusion therapy for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments while assessing, prioritizing and monitoring patients. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: gathering vitals and patient information, triage, charting, cleaning treatment equipment, scheduling coordination, and educating patients and their family members on potential reactions and side-effects. This position allows you to work within a collaborative team and provide compassionate care for patients with a wide variety of cancer diagnoses.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state of Idaho or NLC Minimum of 2 years of RN experience Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology, infusion, acute care, or critical care Demonstrated competency in administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions Strong knowledge of safe handling and administration of hazardous drugs Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) EPIC experience (preferred) Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Additionally:
Performing patient assessments and creating care plans to address individual needs Reviewing laboratory results and communicating with pharmacy and providers to help correct abnormalities per facility policy Monitoring for infusion complications and addressing issues with the medical team Educating patients and their caregivers on proper IV-line maintenance Monitoring for infusion therapy side effects
Pay:
Starting at $45.00/hour - based on years of RN experience and oncology experience
