None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a healthcare facility in Arlington Heights, Illinois to hire a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment on a night shift schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment caring for a diverse patient population. While pulmonary nursing experience is preferred, experienced nurses from a variety of acute care backgrounds will be considered. The ideal candidate is a strong clinician with excellent assessment skills, the ability to adapt to changing patient needs, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This role is well-suited for nurses who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are comfortable floating within their scope of practice to support patient care needs across the facility.

Acute Care Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Pulmonary experience preferred but not required Patient population may include pulmonary, medical, and general acute care patients Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute care patients Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Float within scope of practice to support patient care needs across designated units Qualifications Active Illinois RN License required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Pulmonary nursing experience preferred BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Scheduling & Expectations 12-hour Night Shift 7:00 PM•7:00 AM 36 hours per week Weekend rotation as needed No on-call requirements Holiday coverage as needed Floating required within scope of practice
