None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Arlington Heights, Illinois to hire an experienced Registered Nurse for a Telemetry/Cardiac Stepdown contract assignment. This role is ideal for nurses with strong telemetry and cardiac stepdown experience who are comfortable caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized cardiovascular care. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care while utilizing EPIC charting. This opportunity is well-suited for nurses who excel in cardiac care settings and are looking to expand their experience in a high-acuity telemetry environment.

EPIC Patient Types Cardiac stepdown patients Telemetry-monitored patients Cardiovascular patients requiring continuous monitoring Post-procedural cardiac patients Patients with cardiac dysrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and cardiac stepdown patients Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data Perform ongoing patient assessments and communicate changes in condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Respond appropriately to cardiac events and changes in patient status Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC Float to other units as required Required Qualifications Active Illinois RN license Minimum 2 years of strong Telemetry experience required Cardiac Stepdown experience required EPIC charting experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Strong cardiac assessment and rhythm interpretation skills Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Scheduling & Expectations 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM•7:00 AM) 36 hours per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage as needed No on-call requirements Floating required
