Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Take your nursing expertise to the next level by supporting the health and success of students as a School Registered Nurse. Desired Skills & Experience:
Current and valid RN licensure in Illinois Prior experience working as a School RN or in pediatric settings is preferred Ability to manage healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions Skilled in emergency response and first aid Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with electronic health records and documentation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer daily and emergency care, medications, and treatments as prescribed Conduct health assessments and screenings for students Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) Serve as a resource for health education, wellness promotion, and disease prevention Collaborate with school staff and parents on student health concerns Maintain accurate health records and reports in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP/504 meetings as a healthcare expert when required Embrace a fulfilling role that combines your clinical skill set with a focus on education and community wellness.
