Schedule:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holiday shifts included No on-call duty May float to other specialized ICUs as needed You'll gain valuable perspective by adapting to different critical care environments and technology, enhancing your portfolio with hands-on experience in advanced cardiac and vascular interventions.

Qualifications:

Active Illinois RN license, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 3 years current CVICU experience Successful completion of EKG test (80% or higher) Epic EMR proficiency Experience with: Dysrhythmia management, multiorgan failure, IABP, Impella, post-cardiac surgery, valve replacement/repair, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, PA lines, and complex IV therapies Preference given to candidates with charge nurse responsibilities and experience managing Impella, ECMO, and LVAD patients

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based care to cardiovascular ICU patients Manage complex therapies and devices, including post-cardiac cath/interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support safe patient outcomes Maintain exceptional documentation and contribute to ongoing unit improvement
