Schedule:
12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holiday shifts required No on-call obligations
Role Overview:
Work within the CVICU setting, specializing in the management of complex cardiac patients and supporting positive patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment. You may also float to additional ICUs as needed, further broadening your clinical expertise. Orientation is provided to help you settle in quickly and safely.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' recent CVICU experience Active Illinois RN licensure Valid CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications 80%+ on EKG test Proficient in management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and advanced device care (e.g., Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, Swan Ganz/CVVHD) Experience with post-cardiac surgery and pre/post cardiac intervention care Notable Epic charting skills Charge nurse experience preferred Submission materials: Resume, recent CVICU skills checklist and supervisor reference, EKG score
