In this role, you will administer intravenous (IV) infusions, vitamin drips, injections, and perform other aesthetic wellness treatments for clients in a luxury spa setting. You will work under the supervision of our Medical Director and serve as a trusted clinical professional who delivers exceptional client experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Core Responsibilities Administer IV infusions, vitamin drips, and hydration therapy per established clinical protocols and physician orders. Perform venipuncture, peripheral IV catheter placement, and blood draws with precision and care. Prepare, label, and document IV bags, syringes, and medications in accordance with applicable standards. Conduct pre-treatment assessments including health history review, vital signs, and allergy screening. Educate clients on treatment benefits, risks, expected outcomes, and post-care instructions. Administer intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections (e.g., B12, glutathione, NAD+, Semaglutide) as ordered. Monitor clients during and after treatment for adverse reactions; respond promptly in emergencies. Document all clinical encounters, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system. Maintain a clean, sterile, and fully stocked treatment environment compliant with infection control standards. Collaborate with front desk and operations team to manage client flow and scheduling. Uphold all HIPAA, OSHA, and state nursing practice act requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team trainings, and protocol updates. Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies and medications. Patient Experience & Revenue Support This is a patient-facing, education-driven role.
The RN must:
Confidently explain treatment plans and pricing Support bundled service education Encourage treatment adherence and rebooking Assist with client follow-up and progress monitoring Participate in educational events or light marketing initiatives when needed We are not seeking high-pressure sales. We are seeking clinical authority paired with confident service education.
Qualifications & Requirements Required :
Legally authorized to work in the United States with an active RN license in the state of Illinois in good standing (no disciplinary history). Minimum [1-2] years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in IV therapy, emergency, infusion, or critical care. Demonstrated proficiency in peripheral IV placement and blood draws. Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred for RN). Solid knowledge of medication administration, pharmacology, and contraindications. Strong interpersonal and client service skills; comfortable in a luxury wellness environment. Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer use.
Preferred:
Experience in a med spa, concierge medicine, or aesthetic wellness setting. Familiarity with NAD+ therapy, high-dose vitamin C, or regenerative treatments. CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) certification. Experience with weight management medications (e.g., GLP-1 agonists). Bilingual skills a plus. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily spa setting with controlled lighting and comfortable client suites. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive fine motor tasks. Occasional lifting of supply boxes up to 30 lbs. Weekend or evening availability may be required based on clinic hours.
Pay:
$34.00 - $47.00 per hour
