Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in Illinois (required) Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric nursing setting is highly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to respond to emergencies and administer first aid when needed Compassionate approach to working with children, families, and staff Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide daily health care and triage for students and staff Manage chronic health conditions and administer prescribed medications Conduct screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and maintain detailed health records Respond promptly to health emergencies and implement care as needed Promote wellness programs and health education initiatives throughout the school Serve as a resource on health-related issues for faculty and families
