Student Nurse Extern Full Time Day Shift Compensation:

$25 - $30 (Hourly) The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles. Position Summary Utilizing the nursing process, Nurse Extern I, is a nursing student who provides holistic nursing care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Within 6 months of graduation, Nurse Extern I, is eligible for the Nurse Extern II/Clinical Partner role. Position Requirements Must be currently enrolled in and attending an accredited nursing program. Successfully completed a second clinical rotation and/or if already a CNA, then one clinical rotation. Above average grade point average, as evidenced by school transcripts. Two letters of recommendation from a clinical instructor. Successfully completed relevant theory and/or clinical courses for identified specialty areas.
