Schedule/Hours:
Day shift, 12-hour shifts Weekend rotation: every other weekendOrientation:
24-32 hours (includes 16 hours non-clinical orientation)Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in stroke/neuro nursing; 3 years preferred Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (to be submitted at application) Successful completion of an EKG exam Strong Med/Surg Telemetry skills Flexibility to float to similar units as neededKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to stroke and neuro patients with advanced monitoring and interventions Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient status Serve as a resource for peers and newer staff members Adapt to various unit needs and maintain a patient-centered focus during floating assignmentsBenefits and Travel Perks:
