1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Illinois, requiring strong scrub and circulate skills across multiple surgical specialties. Details Work setting is a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital CVOR unit Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:30 PM

• 7:00 AM Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required On-call requirement: one 10-hour shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday, 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM; no weekday call Mandatory float facility — all clinicians are required to float at the facility's discretion, potentially to units outside their primary area of competency Charting system: Cerner No block scheduling; no special scheduling requests permitted Requirements Active IL RN license required; no pending licenses accepted Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent acute care OR experience required Level 1 Trauma Center experience required Strong scrub and circulate skills in Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro required Scrub experience in all other surgical specialties preferred 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Must reside within 75 miles of the facility Additional Information Scrub color is Navy Blue and is provided by the facility Proof of COVID vaccination is required; booster is not required RTO is capped at 5 days per contract with no more than 2 consecutive days at a time RTO on weekends will not be approved No RTO on holidays or the day before or after a holiday Local candidates are accepted and preferred
