Travel Overview:
Provide direct and indirect nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments to evaluate and adjust care as needed. Deliver compassionate, professional care that addresses patients' physical, psychosocial, and communication needs.
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS, ENPC, TNCC and/or TNS preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the ED Communicate changes in patient condition, symptoms, and diagnostic results to ED physicians and the care team Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient status and treatment response Coordinate with specialists and ancillary services to optimize patient care and ED throughput Provide patient- and family-centered care consistent with professional standards and expectations
