OB Job Summary:
The RN Obstetrics (RN OB) provides nursing care to pregnant individuals, assisting with prenatal check-ups, labor support, and postpartum recovery. This role works closely with obstetricians and midwives to ensure healthy outcomes for mothers and babies.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and record maternal vital signs and fetal heart rates. Administer medications and support during labor and delivery. Educate patients on prenatal care, childbirth options, and postpartum recovery. Assist in creating and updating individualized birth plans. Provide guidance on newborn care and maternal health. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
