Operating Room Registered Nurse

Operating Room Registered Nurse:

Fast paced orthopedic/spine ambulatory surgery center located in Des Plaines, with an excellent benefit package, seeking experienced Operating Room Nurse, previous orthopedic and spine experience a must. Current Illinois license in good standing required. CNOR certification preferred but not required. This Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating patient care in the operating room. This registered nurse acts as a patient advocate during the surgical procedure and creates and maintains a safe environment in which surgery can take place. The candidate should possess knowledge of aseptic techniques and AORN standards and guidelines The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and work well with the entire surgical team and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with working with outside vendors and coordinating equipment and loaner trays a plus. Employer sponsored medical insurance for employee only.
