Job Summary The Registered Nurse

• Admissions plays a critical role in the healthcare team by providing comprehensive nursing care during the admissions process.

This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can effectively assess patient needs, coordinate care, and ensure a smooth transition into the healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission, including medical history and current health status.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Obtains laboratory procedures, x-rays, H&Ps, preoperative testing.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and discharge information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Works closely with anesthesia, facility administrator and physicians' offices to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly. Requirements
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation law is beneficial for handling related cases.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
