Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into an impactful and rewarding nursing role for the upcoming 26-27 academic year! This full-time opportunity calls for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) passionate about making a positive difference in the well-being and educational experience of students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including those in transition programs up to age 22. As a valued member of a dynamic school environment, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with a wide range of health and support needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Demonstrated experience working with school-age children, including those with diverse abilities and needs Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and medical professionals Quick adaptability and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with relevant health regulations and school nursing best practices
Responsibilities Include:
Managing daily health concerns, medications, and care for K-12 and transition students Developing and implementing individualized health plans for students with chronic or acute health concerns Conducting health screenings, immunization compliance, and maintaining accurate health records Serving as a liaison for health education, preventative care, and emergency response Collaborating with educators and school teams to provide inclusive support for all students Providing compassionate care and advocacy for students' physical and emotional needs
