Schedule:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend rotation Required holiday coverage No on-call duties

Qualifications:

Active IL RN license Minimum 3 years' CVICU experience Passing EKG test (≥80%) Current

CPR, ACLS, NIHSS

certifications Proficiency with

Epic EMR Preferred:

Prior charge nurse and device experience (Impella, ECMO, LVAD) Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, multi-organ failure management, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, post-cardiac surgery, valve replacement/repair, CRRT, IV therapies, and central line management

Responsibilities:

Deliver expert care to cardiovascular ICU patients Administer and manage advanced cardiac support devices Care for patients pre/post-cardiac surgery or catheterization Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress using Epic May float to other specialized ICUs as needed
