Schedule/Hours:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holidays as scheduled No on-call requirements 16 hours of paid orientation In this role, you will: Provide critical care to CVICU patients, focusing on post-cardiac surgery recovery, cardiac interventions, and management of complex devices such as Impella, LVAD/RVAD, and intra-aortic balloon pumps Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and post-cardiac catheterization care Administer IV therapies, manage arterial and central lines, care for patients undergoing valve replacements and

CVVHD/CRRT

Float to other intensive care units as needed, including medical and cardiac ICU environments within the system

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years recent CVICU experience Proficiency in EKG interpretation with a passing score of 80% or higher Active IL RN license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certification Experience with Epic EMR Familiarity with advanced cardiac devices (Impella, ECMO, LVAD) preferred Charge experience highly desirable
