None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a nationally recognized acute care hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois to hire an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment. This opportunity is based in a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated facility that serves a diverse and high-acuity patient population. The Emergency Department cares for approximately 120 patients per day and treats a wide range of medical, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, and trauma-related emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent assessment abilities, and experience managing complex emergency cases in a fast-paced environment. Approximately 1:14 Key Responsibilities Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency patients Provide care for trauma, stroke, cardiac, medical, and behavioral health patients Manage critical care drips and vasoactive medications Administer thrombolytic therapy (TPA) as indicated Assist with conscious sedation procedures Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor telemetry patients Manage ventilated patients and respiratory emergencies Perform IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube placement, and wound care Assist with splinting and emergency procedures Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification required PALS certification required NIHSS certification required TNCC certification required CPI or MOAB certification preferred EPIC experience required Strong trauma, stroke, and cardiac care experience preferred Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills Support Within the Department ER Technicians Dedicated Charge Nurse (No Staffing Assignment) 24/7 Respiratory Therapy Coverage 24/7 Hospitalist Coverage Emergency Physicians and Mid-Level Providers Phlebotomy Support for
