Responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the facility. A surgical team member who is responsible for coordinating and controlling the multi-disciplinary activities required to provide a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures .Provides PACU/Recovery nursing care to patients in the facility. Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension. Administers prescribed medications and treatments. ECG interpretaion & current

ACLS/BLS.

Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.

Prepares rooms, equipment, and supplies for admitting and recovery of the patient. Looking for a flexible RN to work part-time 18-24 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with a start time of 0630 or 0700-ranging end times ranging based on case load and hours selected. Our center is open on Saturdays from September to December and would need to work 1-2 Saturdays a month, starting in September, with no holidays or call.
