Staff Registered Nurse

Job Title:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Pain & Vascular Pain & Vascular Institute PLLC is a premier interventional pain management and vascular practice dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge care in a modern, high-performance medical environment. We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and dependable Registered Nurse to join our rapidly expanding clinical team. You will play a critical role in our procedural suite, managing patient safety during complex interventions and ensuring seamless clinical and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities Conscious Sedation:

Administer and monitor conscious sedation under physician direction. for interventional pain and vascular procedures; Must be able to establish IV access and demonstrate competence in airway management.

Clinical Care:

Perform comprehensive pre-procedural assessments, manage IV access, and oversee post-procedure recovery and discharge education in office based procedural suite.

Documentation:

Maintain precise, real-time clinical records in the EMR ( AthenaOne/AthenaHealth experience is a significant plus).

Clinical Operations:

Assist physicians during sterile procedures, ensuring strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique protocols.

Patient Coordination:

Act as a clinical liaison for patients, handling triage calls, explaining procedure expectations, and coordinating follow-up care.

Administrative Support:

Assist with office-related tasks, including inventory management for medical supplies, procedure room turnover, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications Education & Licensure:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Certifications:

Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required (due to sedation and airway management responsibilities).

Experience:

2+ years of nursing experience; background in ICU, ER, PACU, or Interventional Radiology is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in IV placement and monitoring patient vitals under sedation. Experience with EMR systems and basic office software.
