None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a cardiovascular-focused healthcare facility in Glenbrook, Illinois to hire an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract assignment on a Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical unit. This role supports a high-acuity cardiovascular patient population on 4 North, a specialized cardiovascular Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiovascular nursing experience, hands-on telemetry skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are comfortable caring for cardiac patients, interpreting telemetry rhythms, and floating to various units as needed.

Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical Patient Population:

Cardiovascular Med/Surg patients Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular medical-surgical patients Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms Perform patient assessments and implement individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor patient responses Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Accurately document patient care and interventions Float to other units as needed and manage a full patient assignment Required Qualifications Active Illinois RN license required Minimum 2+ years of cardiovascular nursing experience preferred BLS certification required Must pass EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to submission Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills Ability to float and work across multiple units as needed Scheduling & Expectations 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend required Holiday coverage as needed No on-call requirements Floating required to any unit in RN capacity with full patient assignments
