Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse medical settings. In this vital role, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality nursing services, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Your energy and dedication will help create a supportive environment for patients of all ages and backgrounds, fostering healing and well-being at every step. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform personalized care plans. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Monitor patients' conditions continuously, manage acute pain, and respond promptly to emergencies such as airway issues or ventilator needs. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians and specialists in areas such as cardiology, ophthalmology, infectious disease care, or geriatrics to coordinate treatment strategies. Assist with diagnostic procedures including laboratory specimen collection, catheterizations, suturing, or gastrostomy feedings. Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics such as medication management, discharge planning, or chronic disease management. Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with state licensing boards. Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Ability to perform complex procedures such as IV insertions, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques. Knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
