Join a contract/travel opportunity in Herrin, IL — progressive care (step-down) unit. Start ASAP. 36-hour contract rate: $2,308.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state. Progressive care, step-down, or critical care experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Key responsibilities:
Continuously assess and monitor patient status and vital signs in a progressive care setting. Safely administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions. Recognize and respond to clinical changes, escalating care as needed. Provide patient- and family-centered education on care plans and self-management. Accurately document care and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
