Arlington Heights, IL Pay rate: $55/hr Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this vital role, you will utilize your extensive nursing expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your energy and commitment will help improve health outcomes and enhance patient experiences in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in patients' lives through expert nursing practices. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications via various routes including injections, IV infusions, and catheter care while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. Manage acute pain cases and assist with complex procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and ventilator management in settings like ICU or emergency rooms. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and utilizing imaging modalities such as sonography or mammography when applicable. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, patients with developmental disabilities, memory care residents, or those requiring hospice & palliative medicine. Lead patient education initiatives on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, wound care, and discharge planning to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate with physicians and specialists in trauma medicine, cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), infectious disease care, or occupational health to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
