REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse, School RN-IL References:

1 Reference in entire work history Graduate from an accredited Nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois Active CPR certification Clear, articulate communication skills Ability to explain results to a varied audience Completion of a criminal record and background check Professional Educator License with School Support Personnel Endorsements Knowledge of Illinois policy related to student health records & the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Current Healthcare Provider level CPR/AED certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) or be eligible to obtain within a specified timeframe Illinois Department of Public Health certification in vision and hearing screening or be eligible to obtain it within a specified timeframe

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Professional nursing experience (specifically pediatric, adolescent, community or mental health nursing, and/or health program management)
